The Grotto is an off-roader heaven, it provides many levels of challenging routes in the area and so much to do including camping, exploring, and swimming in a small waterfall pool.
The area around The Grotto is mostly creek bed but there is plenty of trails and tight service roads around the creek to explore. If you are planning a trip, we would suggest going on a weekday or a rainy day if you don’t like crowds.
Update:
The Grotto was closed off to the public with a large trench dug in the road but has since been opened back up by the offroading community that continues to love the area.
The Water:
The water tumbles down a small creek over rock beds, leaving many small water pools to relax in, the main water pool is at the end where a small waterfall drops just a few feet, this water pool is deep and great for many.
Camping:
The Grotto provides lots of room for camping, with most of the area being a rock bed, it’s best to have a rooftop tent. The area also has a large shelter for some rain coverage when needed.
Camping here is very popular in the off-road community, and some weekends will be extremely packed with no room for more.
