The Secret Buddha looks over Vancouver, a Buddha represents a sense of calmness and tranquillity so the statue looks over Vancouver with hopes of providing all below with calmness and tranquillity.
Dinkey Peak Loop:
A 2.3 km (1.4 mile) loop that will take you close to the Secret Buddha, this trail also provides some great views above the resort and Vancouver. It takes an average of 40 min to complete the loop.
Dog Mountain Trail:
This 4.8 km (3 mile) trail is the most popular trail in the area with some great views but also a nice pond and a few footbridges. Popular area for hiking, snowshoeing, and running so you will encounter others on the trail. Dogs are welcome on a leash.
Getting There:
The Secret Vancouver Buddha is located on Mount Seymour, Just off the Dog Mountain Trail, overlooking the Mystery Peak Express Gondola. Park at the Mt Seymour Resort and start your hike. Good Luck!!
