Ramp Rock is a Four Wheel Drive attraction that many of the local offroaders adventure to for a great shot of their rigs with a great view, the ramp is a large lock shaped like a ramp with a backdrop of Harrison Lake.
The ramp sits on the side of the service road at the top of Mount Woodside at an elevation of 2,682 feet (817 meters).
Getting There:
A 4×4 high clearance vehicle will be required to get to Ramp Rock, the road has lots of loose rocks and some washouts. On the way to Ramp Rock, you will get lots of photo opportunities of the valley below. The starting point is a Staging Area just off Highway 7 (Lougheed Hwy), from this point you will drive 13.7 km (8.5 miles) up Mount Woodside.
