This old Nickel Plate Shack can be found deep in the woods near the old Nickel Plate Mines, a small shack that has so much to see and so much to explore in the area.
The Shack:
Nickel Plate Shack is a two-story shack built on the side of a small creek, the creek provides the shack with power and a small viewpoint from the shack’s back patio.
Power is generated from the watermill on the side of the shack, as the watermill turns it spins an old vehicle’s rear end on the inside, generating power for a small light and other low-power necessities. The watermill has a scoop that can also be moved in and out of the creekbed.
Inside the shack is a small kitchen area, a small sleeping area and a small relaxing area while the outside has a small dog house and a small patio that overlooks the creek.
Getting There:
Getting there requires a high clearance 4×4, head up Hedley Nickle Plate Road, the Shack is in this area, Happy Hunting!
